The Face Shop - Oil Control Water Cushion

Nature is the simplest place a person can be. It’s where all things started. Where we belong. Let us dance in the sun, feel the warmth. Walk through the forest with your bare feet, feel the grass under your skin. It heals pain. It gives peace. And sometimes, it’s what we need.

Speaking about nature, I have been trying new beauty product from The Face Shop, Oil control water cushion. Based on water, it turns to be a really good face product. It controls oil pretty well. This product is neither BB cream nor CC cream like we used to have, it’s a new beauty innovation called cushion. In Korea, this kind of product is popular and become most people favorite lately.

According to me, cushion does play a good role in this busy world. It is compact and easy to bring it anywhere you go. The face shop makes a simple packaging; white and pretty. When you open their packaging, you will find the applicator called air puff. Then under the applicator you will find spongy cushion with a special light formula in it. I am not sure how to call the formula, it’s not as hard as foundation, but I don’t think it’s a BB or CC cream. Well, it covers your skin well, but not like foundation, somehow it blends awesomely in a second. They have two shades ; Apricot Beige and Natural Beige.

I have been trying this product for a week, and end up to liking it much. My activity is rough, sweaty and oily. But the product stays good and controls the oil like they said. I must say that it controls oil, not make your face matte all day. Means it won’t let your face to be disgustingly shiny.

About their launching event at JJ Royal Bistro, they explained the product really well. They have fun games, makeup demo, and of course good food. For all VIPs and bloggers, they have free makeover and beauty consultation! As you may know, Kim Soo Hyun is the new global brand ambassador. I am pretty sure that Korean lovers are familiar with him.

I would recommend this product for people who love natural makeup. It won’t cover your skin as foundation does. If you don’t have many problems with your skin, this product may suit you. I used this product with combination of powder. It is totally optional; if you have super oily face I suggest you use powder after using this cushion. I used powder because I always love complete matte look.
