CNY Tradition in Indonesia

Tradition is part of Indonesian country. It is more than just a holiday but the meaning behind each of them. I would like to tell you a little bit more about my country. As you can read on my last post, Indonesia has 17,000 islands, with over 3,000 languages are spoken across them. But we unite as Indonesian. One of the unique tradition that we just passed is Chinese Lunar New Year. As Indonesian adopt many cultures, it makes Indonesia an unique country.

Juara x Sociolla

A country with more than 17,000 islands, of which are 8,000 are inhabited. Over 3,000 languages are spoken across them. But with all diversity they unite as one, called Indonesian. It’s a beguiling country with an amazingly rich nature. It is a land of so many cultures, peoples, animals, sights, artworks, foods, and plants, it’s like 100 countries melded as one. Every island has a unique men, women, and children who live upon it. They have their own tradition, and beliefs. With that, lies mysteries, and secrets passed over generations.

Time moves in a fast pace. Leaving traditions, and thoughts of an old generation. But we live in an extraordinary planet. No matter how far our knowledge goes, we will always find a way back to nature. To the place we all belong. Chemicals are there to help us. They’re invented by those fantastic scientists. But sometimes nature already provides things we need. It has been there, all this time. We just need to take a moment and find.

Introducing Sociolla

January almost end. First month of the year. The beginning of a chapter. I have seen many people have a list to do in 2016. Something they missed last year, or hopes and dreams they are trying to achieve this year. There is always an exciting feeling to read those lists. I can feel their spirit, wish, hope, and every positive thing in it, and it always good. I used to have that kind of list before. And I am one of them who have fire in me when starting a new year. But months passed, and seasons changing, that spirit is creeping out from my body. By the end of the year I lost all of it. And end up leaving my list sitting at the corner of my room, covered with dust and dried ink. So I stop having New Year list. Now I decided to change my mind, and how I look at the world. I keep hopes and dreams in my heart and never let it go no matter what. I put a goal straight there in front of me with a golden arrow pointing at it. And through the year, I just trying to maximize every second that I passed. Making each day, a moment to remember.
